Austin practices drums each week with our worship director at church and each week he asks me to take a video of him. Here's the latest. First he practices what the homeschool band director gives him, then he just goofs around and makes his own beats. He REALLY enjoys himself and does a great job. This video is on one of their electronic sets.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Theresa! He's wanted to play drums for YEARS. We have rockband for the XBOX and he did so well at it. Heck, he even out performs all the adults that play.
DeleteWe've talked to different people in the past about him taking lessons, but everyone told us he needed 1-2 years of piano and he HATED that idea. Still does.
Thankfully, the home school band director and our worship director at church disagreed and have helped him quite a bit. I'm excited to see where this takes him. He's VERY motivated!
